Through my artwork, I hope to ignite a passion for God's creation and a spiritual approach to life.
My vision is for admirers to feel an intense love for creation and a desire to protect it. I wish my creations caress your soul and hold you in a warm embrace. By the way, the "O" stands for Olympia!
In my formative years my mom enrolled me in art class with hopes of quieting and calming her hyperactive child. I fell in love with color and its possibilities. Later in my teenage and adult life, I studied under Spanish Maestro Bartolome Mongrell Mestre; descendent of Valencian master painters. He introduced me to European Academies of Art and the classic masters. Today, in my midlife I am part of an art workshop with local masters under the direction of Visual Mexican Artist Joaquin Garcia Quintana who introduced me to the world of expressionism and abstraction.
These two movements unleashed my creativity and my passion for painting this beautiful world.
I put a lot of thoughts into my paintings and use color to express them. I am a Fauve at heart; passionate for color and what it can project.
Colors, compositions and abstractions float around me during my many travels to the great outdoors. My inspiration comes from God's creation. Sometimes, the Fauve spirit dominates, other times the romanticism of the Impressionists compel my brushes. Other times, when I am bursting with emotions, I welcome abstract expressionism to take over.
With age came pride of being a woman and tremendous admiration for a woman's beauty and mystery. I believe we are God's accomplisses of creation.
My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.

Some days, I wake up and put on whatever is near and head to my studio filled with inspiration. I'm so eager to plaster my thoughts on canvas that I forget to brush my hair or even wash my face! VIVA La Vie BOHEME!
My colorful journey began at the age of six. Art appeased my anxieties and opened new worlds. Señora Lili, my art teacher, treated me like a real artist and took my work seriously. So much that I participated in art exhibitions! the photo on the left is from the local newspaper covering the event which took place in my hometown of Matamoros, Mexico. Thank you for visiting my studio!
